A fantastic opening at Igloo
We had a lovely turnout for Project Grow's first gallery opening! Igloo was a fantastic host for all the visitors that came to witness Patsy, Jamond, David, and Kim's art. With delicious beer in hand, the guests connected among Jamond's playful paintings and Patsy's wonderous words.
Thank you to everyone who was able to make it! Hope to see you at our next opening. We will announce it on our website when the date and location are solidified.
Happy creating.

What a special farm!
This past Thursday we had an amazing trip to Zenger Farm, a sweet and thoughtful urban farm in SE Portland. Alice and two other welcoming volunteers led our excited group around the farm giving us an experience unlike anything our adventurers have every had. We tasted brave broccoli that survived the winter, experienced feisty garlic greens that were eager for the warming months, and befriended the worms that were busy composting. After a little waltz with the chickens, we went back to Port City glowing from all the beautiful knowledge that was entrusted to us. Portland is such a fortunate city to have a farm like Zenger to show us what a magical world an urban farm can be. Thank you, Zenger Farm for the fantastic experience!

Zenger Farm Tomorrow
We have had three fabulous field trips in February. I can't wait to see what is in store for the gang in Project Grow in March. It is starting out with quite a bang. Tomorrow we are going to Zenger Farm where we are going to have a little bit of a tour, a little bit of a lesson on farm safety, and the chance to meet the folks who do so such wonderful work in the community.
It is also a perfect time to reflect on our own little adventure that is shaping up behind Port City, an organic urban farm of our own!

Our show at Igloo
Growinginalldirections.org is up!
Welcome visitor!
Come and knock on Project Grow's digital door!
It is incredibly thrilling to carve out a lovely little dwelling for ourselves on the internet. Brandon Sorg was generous with his time and resources and built us a beautiful site just in time for our exhibit this Thursday, March 5th. Thanks, Brandon!
Thanks for dropping in on us for a while. This is our very first blog entry and though first impressions are very important indeed, we hope that you will stop by and see us often. Hopefully we'll have a chance to get to know one another.
