The Weaving Studio

That piece that I did is a good piece. I worked on the loom. On the weaving machine next door. I did it with Jennifer. And Dan. And what's her name? Ilene. Weaving makes me feel good. Cause it's fun. I enjoy it. And also, I did it because it's fun to weave. Also, I make a lot of money from art and weaving. What else, let's see. I enjoy it a lot. It's fun to do stripes. Make a flag out of weaving. And. Jennifer is a nice person to be with. And that's why I like being with her because she is a sweet person to be with. So is Ilene. I like Meghan too.
~ Dan McClary, art and weaving stud

The weaving studio is full of visionary artists who recklessly reinvent materials and create a world bursting with color. Check out the site! If you'd like to carry the placemats, rugs, table runners, pillows, or art in your business, get in touch with us! We'd love to share it with more of the world.

Spring has Sprung!

Our starts are tall, healthy, and beautiful! The smell of tomato plants in March is one of the most wonderful treats someone can have at the end of a rainy winter.

"Hot Diggidy" - Project Grow Round Circle

Every second Friday the Project Grow family sits down together to celebrate, share, and plan. Jamond, Joe, Dan, Vickie, Babs, and QT (in the circle) are discussing possible field trips.
Much was discussed this Friday, including: field trips, tips on controlling tempers, how will we go about seeking out someone to join our family, the Sea Change gallery schedule for May, and ideas for Kickstarter.

Avatar - A review by Forrest

The first movie is really cool. It’s a little complex. You gotta see the first movie. It’s about my favorite guy, I forgot his name. But he’s going to be an avatar. He’s a human being like you, but he can’t walk. His legs aren’t working. HE needs to change into an avatar and then he can walk again. He’s like four times bigger than you.

Drawing our own donuts.. and eating it too!

The first thing we did is, the bikes left and the guys on it took off. We left after second break and we took the bus down to VooDoo donuts, we met Jim and James and Steven and Dan and Forrest at the Donut Shop. When we got there, we walked through the back off the kitchen. We had a tour. And we talked about the donuts and how they make them and how they fry them and then the tour is over and we went to the front. We had our donuts. Then we did some art work drawing donuts, then that was it. We designed our own donuts so we could figure out how its done, to do something different. I felt good that we all came as a group and had a good time.
